Job summary

Centurion Health at Lake Butler, FL is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the Reception & Medical Center. The RN works under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to medical, psychological, and social needs.

• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).
• Must have active nursing license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
• Maintain appropriate scope of practice and documentation.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the care team.

We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at the Reception and Medical Center located in Lake Butler, Florida (Union County).

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

6:45pm-7:15am, three shifts per week; rotating weekends

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
