Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3CW Neuro unit. This full-time, non-management role offers variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed by the unit.

Under the Nurse Leader, you will provide direct and indirect patient care, collaborate with physicians and staff, and ensure efficient resource utilization while maintaining professional communication and problem-solving to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.
• Technical in Nursing required. Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience, particularly in an acute care setting preferred
• Proficiency in electronic documentation preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care for an assigned caseload and delegate duties appropriately.
• Direct staff in the delivery of care and ensure proper utilization of resources.
• Collaborate with medical staff and others to provide patient care.

• Variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on unit need. Refer back to posting on which shift is available. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.
• This position is based within Jefferson RegionalNursing Departments.Refer back to posting on location.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients. This includes delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care, assuring responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the hospital setting. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Registered Nurse Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.
• Technical in Nursing required. Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
