Jefferson Regional Med Ctr in Pine Bluff, AR seeks a Registered Nurse for the 3NW Cardiac unit. The role involves providing direct and indirect patient care, coordinating with physicians and staff, and floating to various departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Diploma in Nursing required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Current valid Arkansas Registered Nurse Licensure
• BLS/CPR required prior to patient care.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certification within 1 year if applicable to the department.
• Safety sensitive position.
• Proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Flexibility to adapt to changes
• Compassionate patient and family support
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Preferred: 5+ years and floating experience

• This position is based within Jefferson Regional JSS- Pool Department

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the nursing leader, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients. This includes delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care, assuring responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the hospital setting. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Registered Nurse Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Diploma in Nursing required. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
