Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.

• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse; BLS certification required; additional certs for specialty areas may be required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, provides direct patient care to assigned patients.
• Utilization of nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Administers medications and IV therapy; performs treatments and emergencies as needed.
• Communicates patient status and plan of care to physicians, nurses, and health care professionals.
• Coordinates patient activities with health team and manages daily patient assignment.
