Job summary

The New York State Department of Health is seeking a Registered Nurse 1 to coordinate, direct and provide professional nursing care to Nursing Home residents under the supervision of the Registered Nurse 2 and/or Assistant Director of Nursing/Director of Nursing.

This permanent, full-time role participates in NYS HELPS with a posted salary range and a comprehensive benefits package, including holidays, PSLF, NYS pension, and shift/geographic differentials.

Qualifications

Must hold a license and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State.
Long-Term Care nursing experience preferred.
Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, direct and provide professional nursing care to Nursing Home residents under supervision.
Work under RN 2 or Assistant/Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain compliance with licensure and regulatory requirements.
