Job summary

Quadrant, Inc. in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our operating room support team. The role requires NC RN licensure, ambulatory care experience, and comfort with pre-op and PACU duties, including starting IVs and patient education.

You will document patient information in the EMR, monitor post-operative patients, and assist providers during examinations and treatments. BLS/ACLS certification is preferred; apply to join a team focused on safe, quality surgical care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in North Carolina.
• Ambulatory care experience required.
• Pre-Op and/or PACU or ICU experience considered based on overall experience.
• Comfort with IV administration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and administer IVs.
• Review paperwork with patients.
• Monitor patients post-operatively.
• Assess patients.
• Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Provide patient education on surgical procedures.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care to patients.
• Assist providers as needed.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatments.

MUST:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Ambulatory experience
• Pre-Op and or PACU experience or ICU experience will be considered depending on experience
• Comfortable working pre-op and PACU
• Comfortable starting and administering IV’s
• Experience updating patients charts using EMR
• Strong attention to detail and proactive
• Providing patient education
• Monitoring and assessing patients
• Discussing pre -op instructions, procedures and medical histories
• BLS and ACLS Certified
