Job summary

Sunrise Northeast, Inc. is seeking an experienced registered nurse to oversee medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role focuses on providing timely, respectful care while ensuring regulatory compliance across labs, appointments, and treatments. Ideal candidates will hold a current state RN license, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and have experience in IDD care.

Qualifications

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screenings.
  • Valid driver's license meeting company standards for approved driver status.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Current valid state RN license is required.
  • Strong clinical skills are required.
  • Experience in intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality nursing/medical services in accordance with regulatory requirements in a timely, dignified and least restrictive manner.
  • Ensures lab, medical appointments, follow up visits and treatments occur within required time frames.
  • Monitors and reviews all required documentation to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate positively and collaboratively with all disciplines and team members.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Purpose

To oversee the administration and coordination of medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.

Qualifications
  • Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
