Job summary

Meadowcrest at Middletown is seeking a Registered Nurse to advocate for residents and team members while ensuring safety and promoting a culture of respect. This role works Friday and Saturday nights 11 pm–7 am, with a team-focused environment that values compassionate care.

You will lead nursing operations under the Director of Nursing, coordinate with pharmacy consultants, and ensure compliance with state regulations. Experience in senior living and management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a licensed professional nurse or registered nurse.
• Two (2) years’ experience as a licensed nurse.
• One (1) year nurse management experience.
• Experience in senior living, home health, or long-term care.
• Demonstrated competence in assessment, injections, medication administration, follow-up and triage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure community follows all federal, state, local laws and regulations pertaining to clinical care.
• Partner with the director to analyze and maintain resident and team member health and safety.
• Coordinate with pharmacy consultant to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
• Be responsible for clinical expertise of licensed nurses.
• Assist with team member education.
• Identify ongoing needs and services of residents.
• Ensure resident service plans are updated per state regulations.
• Communicate changes in care or health concerns with residents and families.
• Participate in community awareness activities and community relations.
• Order clinical supplies; schedule clinical team members; rotate on-call schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description of responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing/ Assistant Director of Nursing:

• Ensure that the community follows all federal, state, local laws and regulations as it pertains to clinical care

• Partners with executive director to analyze and maintain resident and team member health and safety

• Partners with pharmacy consultant to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents

• Responsible for clinical expertise of licensed nurses

• Assists with team member education

• Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents

• Communicates with resident’s family and/or responsible party regarding changes in care or health concerns

• Participates in community awareness activities and community relations

• Responsible for ordering clinical supplies

Required experience:

• Current state license as a licensed professional nurse or registered nurse
