Job summary

Here’s Help Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse for a 24-hour residential program for young men in recovery. You will deliver patient-centered nursing care, manage withdrawal, medications, and care plans within an integrated clinical team, focusing on safe, compassionate support. Hours: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, with competitive compensation.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated person join our 24-hour residential program for young men (ages 13-35) recovering from substance abuse.

Your Role and Impact:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be a vital member of our integrated clinical team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care. You will work directly with individuals in various stages of recovery, helping them navigate withdrawal, manage medications, and build a foundation for a healthier future.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
• Dispense medications as directed by Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Assist PMHNP during follow-ups and new consults.
• Organize and execute treatment plan for individuals.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Serves as intermediary for patient communication.

Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree (BSN), Associate's degree (ADN), or completion of an accredited nursing program.
• New graduates encouraged to apply!
• Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
• Certifications:
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or equivalent de-escalation training (certification required; training may be provided upon hire).
• Experience:
  • Prior experience in psychiatric, mental health, behavioral health, or substance abuse treatment settings is highly preferred.
  • New graduates with strong relevant clinical rotations and a genuine interest in this specialty are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Exceptional clinical assessment, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to build therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries. Familiarity with EMR systems.

Hours: Monday to Sunday: 8:00AM to 12:00PM

Salary: $35/hour
