Job summary

Reliant Specialty Infusion is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in Santa Monica, CA. You will join a small infusion team, starting IVs, mixing and administering medications, monitoring patients, and responding to adverse reactions.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, tracking vitals, collaborating on care plans, and maintaining EMR records. Required: Current BLS and ACLS, minimum 2 years clinical infusion experience, strong assessment and communication skills, and EMR

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, including infusion therapy.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report deviations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist in performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results.
• Educate patients and families on medications and care.
• Maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems.
• Adhere to regulatory standards including infection control and confidentiality.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

About us

Reliant Specialty Infusion is an Ambulatory Infusion Clinic founded in Monroe, LA. We have 15 infusion clinics located in Louisiana, Oklahoma, California, and Texas.

We're opening new ambulatory infusion clinics in California and building a PRN nurse team. You'd work on a small team with an NP, starting IVs, mixing and administering medications, monitoring patients during infusions, and responding to adverse reactions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any deviations from normal ranges.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist in performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results.
• Educate patients and their families on administered medications
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards, including infection control protocols and patient confidentiality guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Required:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, including infusion therapy.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
