Job summary

Infusion for Health is seeking a part-time Infusion Registered Nurse in La Jolla, CA. The position offers 16 hours per week (Mondays and Fridays) with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, educating on treatments, administering medications and IV access, monitoring patients, EMR documentation, maintaining rooms, and handling calls in a HIPAA-compliant environment. Requirements include ADN, RN license, 3 years ICU/ER experience, infusion experience preferred but

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in ICU/ER or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort them to private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about treatments and address concerns about reactions.
• Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation.
• Maintain patient flow and manage emergencies calmly.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked.
• Answer phone calls adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Position Details: We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our center in La Jolla, Ca . Part-Time, Monday and Friday, 16 hours per week.

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly pay between $54- $58, with variations based on experience and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

• Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction.
• Recent IV experience.

Essential Functions:
