Job summary

Reliant Specialty Infusion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our infusion clinic team in Alexandria, Louisiana. The RN will assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor vitals, and collaborate with physicians and NPs under supervision to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with infusion therapy, strong assessment and communication skills, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification and active credentials.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience including infusion therapy.
• Strong assessment, communication and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to work in a professional, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report deviations.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist in diagnostic tests and interpretation of results.
• Educate patients and families on medications and care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records in the EMR system.
• Adhere to infection control and confidentiality guidelines.

Reliant Specialty Infusion is an Ambulatory Infusion Clinic founded in Monroe, LA. We have 15 infusion clinics located in Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Alexandria, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner and/or Physicians. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of those entrusted to our care in the infusion clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any deviations from normal ranges.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist in performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results.
• Educate patients and their families on administered medications
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards, including infection control protocols and patient confidentiality guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Required:

• Current BLS and certifications.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience, including infusion therapy.
