Job summary

Corewell Health Lakeland Hospitals in St. Joseph, MI, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred).

• Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and adherence to hospital policies and ethics.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time in a dynamic environment, and adapt to patient needs.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS or specialty credentials are beneficial.
• Participation in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience in hospital settings is a plus; new grads with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Role Description

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan and graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; BSN preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and to provide clear patient education.
• Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and adherence to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional ethics.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time in a dynamic environment, and adapt to changing patient needs and unit workflows.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or specialty-specific credentials are beneficial.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience in a hospital setting, particularly within Corewell Health or similar systems, is a plus; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
