Eye Associates Of New Mexico seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Rio Rancho, NM. The role involves circulating or scrubbing ophthalmic procedures and supporting anesthesia with a focus on patient safety and efficiency.

ACLS and BLS are required (training provided). No night shifts and a Monday–Friday schedule with benefits, paid training, and certification support are offered in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current NM RN license.
• Experience in the operating room or outpatient surgery preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (ACLS/BLS training provided).
• Knowledge of AORN standards and surgical asepsis.
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to prioritize in high-volume settings.

Responsabilités

• Circulate and/or scrub during ophthalmic and oculoplastic procedures.
• Support anesthesia induction, emergence, and airway management.
• Monitor for clinical changes and initiate emergency response when needed.
• Ensure proper sterile technique, instrument use, and room turnover.
• Accurately document care and administer medications per protocols.
