Eye-Associates-of-New-Mexico in Rio Rancho, NM, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (30 hours) for the Operating Room. This role supports ophthalmic procedures, anesthesia workflow, and patient safety in a dynamic surgical setting.

Onsite schedule is Monday–Friday with no nights or major holidays, plus training and certification support. Candidates must hold a current NM RN license, have OR experience preferred, and possess ACLS/BLS certifications (training provided).

Qualifications

• Current NM RN license
• Experience in the operating room or outpatient surgery preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (training provided)
• Knowledge of AORN standards and surgical asepsis
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to prioritize in high-volume settings

Responsabilités

• Circulate and/or scrub during ophthalmic and oculoplastic procedures
• Support anesthesia induction, emergence, and airway management
• Monitor for clinical changes and initiate emergency response when needed
• Ensure proper sterile technique, instrument use, and room turnover
• Accurately document care and administer medications per protocols

What You’ll Do:
