Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the state of employment.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess residents and develop individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other physician-ordered interventions.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status.
  • Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Educate residents and family members regarding care plans and health conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and facility regulations.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and provide clinical leadership as needed.
  • Foster a safe, compassionate, and respectful environment for residents and staff.
