Fairmont on Clayton is seeking an Assisted Living Coordinator to provide leadership for the assisted living neighborhood. Responsibilities include championing the care manager model, recruiting and training staff, and overseeing staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring resident care standards and individualized service plans are delivered effectively.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred in assisted living, long term care or hospital industries or experience/exposure to the senior population.
• College degree and management experience may be required per state requirements
• 1 year supervisory and management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management daily operations supervision, discipline and counseling
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their skills, roles and interests
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations
• Competent in organizational, time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

General Purpose

The Assisted Living Coordinator is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the assisted living neighborhood. Responsibilities include but not limited to championing the designated care manager concept and the universal care manager model throughout the neighborhood, assisting in the recruiting, hiring and training of team members in the neighborhood; completing staffing, scheduling and daily reviews of timekeeping reports. Responsible for team member recognition and engagement, performance management and evaluations. Responsible for facilitating resident care in-services and the completion of Individualized Service Plans.
