Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Piqua Care Center in Ohio. The role focuses on providing direct patient care, supervising STNAs, and coordinating comprehensive care plans for residents.

You will administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and participate in quality initiatives while collaborating with the care team to ensure respectful, effective service. English proficiency and RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state.
• Knowledge of nursing care facilities laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications, wound care, and procedures.
• Supervise and direct STNAs to ensure high-quality care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with other professionals.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure quality care and identify improvement areas.
• Administer medications and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate resident records and progress notes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treating wounds, and performing various medical procedures.
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned STNAs, ensuring that they provide high-quality care to residents.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure that residents are receiving high-quality care and to identify any areas for improvement.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes or concerns to the Nurse Supervisor and/or Unit Manager.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve the overall quality of care provided to residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that care is coordinated and resident needs are met.

Requirements:

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Supporting team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
