The role includes overseeing ORR Medical Coordinators, delivering training on medical, dental, and public health topics, and developing protocols to ensure quality care. Collaboration with local medical teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s Degree, or higher health-related qualification.
• At least 1 year of employment in public health or healthcare setting with demonstrated experience in care coordination, health administration, or direct clinical care.
• Experience in medical billing and insurance preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.

What will you do: Registered Nurse operates at a strategic and supervisory level within the organization, focusing on ensuring that medical operations are aligned and function efficiently. This role is essential for overseeing the ( Office of Refugee Resettlement) ORR Medical Coordinators and providing appropriate staff training on medical, dental, and public health topics relevant to pediatric, adolescent, and migrant health. The Registered Nurse ensures the integration of health services and compliance with safety and regulatory standards and develops medical protocols to support quality care. Also coordinating coordinates with local medical teams and medical providers to ensure continuity of care and responsible for monitoring the overall performance of medical operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s Degree, or higher health-related qualification (e.g. Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner)
• A minimum of 1 year of employment in public health or a healthcare setting with demonstrated experience in care coordination, health administration, or direct clinical care.
• Experience in medical billing and insurance preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required.
