Job summary

Franciscan Health Mooresville Campus in Mooresville, IN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for OB/GYN specialty clinics. The RN will provide professional nursing care, assist providers, coordinate patient care, and serve as a liaison among patients, coworkers and physicians.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state or NLC, required

• BLS certification required

• Record and maintain complete and accurate records of patient and physician communications regarding medical care according to standard medical record documentation requirements

• Submit electronically/fax new prescriptions and refill prescriptions according to Physician orders.

• Serve as a resource to clinic staff regarding medical information, patient assessment, and nursing management of illness

• Acquire pre-certs/prior authorizations for patient needs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's Degree -Required

• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

• Valid RN license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) upon hire - Required

• 2 years Nursing/Patient Care - Preferred

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
