Graceland Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Memphis, TN. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities and a supportive, resident-centered environment.

As an RN, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans, administer medications, educate patients, monitor vitals, and participate in discharge planning while maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state license.
• Current/active CPR certification required.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds; physical work is a primary part of the job.

Responsabilités

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications and document accordingly.
• Educate patients on procedures and care plans.
• Record vitals and medical information accurately.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays; respond to adverse symptoms.
• Provide bedside care for diverse medical patients and participate in discharge planning.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Record all care information concisely and timely.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN):

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology.
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, starts IVs.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN):

• Registered Nurse with current state license.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.
• Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.
• Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.
