Job summary

Quadrant, Inc. in McLean, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the intraoperative team. The role requires VA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and extensive operating room and orthopedic experience.

You will work as part of the circulating nurse team, providing patient advocacy, assisting physicians and anesthesia staff, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical procedure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or BSN.
• VA Registered Nurse license is required.
• Experience in intraoperative nursing and orthopedic cases.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients during the intraoperative phase.
• Assist the physician and anesthesia team to address patient needs.
• Act as circulating nurse and advocate for the patient in the OR.

MUST:

• Experienced Operating Room

DUTIES:

• Nursing care to the patient during the intraoperative phase
• Performs nursing activities in the operating room where the circulating nurse is the patient's advocate
• Answers patient needs by assisting the physician and person responsible for anesthesia care
