Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Joliet, IL seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide in-home care and assessments, aligning with Happier Aging principles.

The role requires travel to client visits, flexible hours including early mornings or evenings, and strong communication skills to support families and Care Designers. Prior home health experience is preferred, with a focus on safe, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have IL RN license and be currently practicing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; home health care experience is asset.
• Ability to travel independently to client visits.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Shifts may include early morning, evening or overnight to meet client needs.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Creates Happier Aging experiences and client focused care in home and community settings
• Delivers on our Brand Promise by owning the client’s experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families
• Delivers comprehensive nursing care and assessments to clients according to your scope of practice outlined by American Nurse Association.
• Engages and reports in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client’s experience and care are identified
• Responds to Care Services Center (CSC) team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently as outlined by American Nurse Association.
• Is a leader in the community
• Able to use applications via phone and email to ensure proper communication and documentation are completed for your client’s care

Availability

• Flexibility is required
• Casual / Part time

Business Relationships

• Reports to the Care Designer
• Works closely with the Client Care Ambassador

• Attendance & Reliability
• AMS – Attendance Monitoring System (Alayacare)
• NPS; Client Score of 10

Requirements

• Two positive professional references
• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with IL license
• Minimum 1 year RN experience, home health care experience is considered an asset
• Ability to travel independently to client visits
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients’ needs.
