Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Austin Heart is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our practice. This full-time days position offers a collaborative team environment and a commitment to respectful, compassionate patient care.

You will manage patient flow, screen and prepare for exams, administer medications, document results, and educate patients and families about care instructions.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, and active RN licensure; 1–3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (phone triage when needed).

Registered Nurse RN

Seeking a Registered Nurse RN for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:
