Job summary

Henrico Cardiology Associates in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical expertise and ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. This full-time role supports a collaborative team dedicated to compassionate care.

The position emphasizes patient education, medication administration, and accurate charting, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule. Experience 1–3 years preferred; valid RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• Current RN license in accordance with state regulations (Virginia).
• 1-3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed).
• Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.
