Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, has an RN contract opening in Hanover, PA, serving a clinic with pediatric, women’s, and adult care. You will use nursing skills to assess needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have phlebotomy experience, EPIC proficiency, and a willingness to support administration. 5-month duration with extension possibilities; pay is $38–$50 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• PA RN license and BLS required at start.
• Phlebotomy skills and EPIC experience preferred.
• Comfort supporting clinic administration and front desk tasks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient care needs and prioritize treatment.
• Perform nursing assessments, vital signs, and tests within scope.
• Collaborate with physicians for further treatment.
• Maintain medical records and infection control procedures.
• Administer medications as directed and ensure patient privacy.
• Support follow-up calls and visits with patients.

Job description

RN needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s food manufacturing client located in Hanover, PA. This primary care clinic provides pediatric, woman, and adult care. Seeking and RN with experience in phlebotomy and EPIC as well as a willingness to support administration.

Schedule

Monday 7a-1p, Tuesday 11a-7p, Thursday 11a-4p, Friday 8a-3p

Duration

5 months with possible extension or direct placement

Pay

$38-50/HR depending experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Uses nursing skills to evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow.
• Conducts a nursing assessment by taking a patient history and physical assessment and by obtaining vital signs and other medical tests. Provides treatment within scope of practice as defined by state law.
• Collaborates with Physician or other Licensed Independent Practitioner to arrange for further medical treatment, when needed.
• Identifies equipment that needs repair and brings it to the attention of the lead clinician.
• Performs occupational and health screening tests as needed (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Conducts appropriate laboratory tests and quality control procedures.
• Documents accurately all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications administered, discharge instructions provided, and follow up care arranged.
• Evaluates health education/promotion needs of patients and provides necessary training and instruction.
• Identifies emergency situations and provides care within legal scope of practice.
• Administers medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a Physician or Licensed Independent Practitioner.
• Maintains medical records using (In some health centers it may be using Electronic Medical Record software).
• Maintains a clean and safe environment. Follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidential patient information.
• Participates in follow up phone calls and follow up patient visits.

What You Need to Bring to the Table

• RN License to practice in PA
• BLS upon hire
• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Epic and front desk experience is preferred
