Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and established guidelines. Preferred qualifications include ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical specialty certifications. Work hours are 7:30-5pm, reflecting a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Preferred: ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
