Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse (RN) to oversee resident health, strengthen clinical systems, and ensure medication safety and regulatory compliance across the community.

Responsibilities include conducting multiple assessments, monthly wellness visits, responding to incidents, and collaborating with families, physicians, and the Resident Care Director to promote high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• 1+ year experience in senior care or clinical setting.
• Strong assessment, regulatory, and communication skills.

• Conduct move-in, 3-day, semi-annual, and change-of-condition assessments
• Perform monthly wellness visits and monitor health trends
• Follow up on falls, incidents, and hospital returns
• Transcribe physician orders and ensure accurate MAR/TAR documentation
• Complete medication audits and oversee medication program compliance
• Partner with families, physicians, and the Resident Care Director
• Promote infection control and survey readiness
• Provide clinical guidance and training to care staff
• You serve as a proactive clinical resource preventing decline through assessment, early intervention, and strong documentation oversight

38.95 - 53.80
