Job summary

Tennessee Quality Care in Dover, TN is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for home health visits in Dover and surrounding areas.

You will provide one-on-one skilled nursing care, assess patients, develop and update care plans, and coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include TN RN license, CPR, reliable transportation, and a compassionate approach. Regular weekday visits with a rotating on-call schedule evenings and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Tennessee.
  • Graduate from an accredited RN program and licensed in TN.
  • At least 1 year clinical experience; home health preferred.
  • Must have CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide visits as assigned, assess needs, and update the plan of care.
  • Perform clinical nursing procedures and documentation.
  • Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for optimal care.

RN What Youll Do

Provide visits as assigned by the Clinical Services Manager including the assessment determination of eligibility admissions processing planning implementation and evaluation phases of the nursing process Assignments will vary depending on licensureObtain data and assess necessary information from patient physical psychological social and spiritual factors that may impact patient and familys needs and coordinate intervention by other members of the interdisciplinary teamInitiate communication with the attending physician interdisciplinary team and other agencies for the purpose of coordinating optimal careProvide visits to assess the patients needs and update the plan of carePerform therapeutic preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures as directed by the attending physicianPerform clinical pronouncement of death and provide support to family as applicable to licensureMaintain accurate patient records charts progress notes reports and prepare care plans timely

Qualifications

Registered NurseGraduate from an accredited registered nursing program and licensed in the stateAt least one 1 year clinical practical nursing experience preferably in intensive care rehabilitation or medical surgical nursing preferredHome health experience preferredPossess and maintain valid CPR certificationMust have reliable transportation current drivers license and appropriate automobile insurance
