Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing services under the direction of a physician or mid-level provider. The role involves maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment and offering a range of services including patient health data collection and analysis, care plan development, and patient progress evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to patients and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Collect and analyze patient health data to determine diagnoses and identify expected outcomes.
• Develop and implement plans of care with interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and provide education and health assessments to patients and families.
• Perform professional nursing duties, including patient care in alignment with physician directives and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an ACEN and CCNE accredited college.
• 1 year experience in independent triaging is required.
• Urgent care experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Schedule includes rotations of 3 shifts of 12 hours each, with expectations to work two weekend shifts per month.
• Shifts vary, starting from 8AM-8:30PM and closing at 9:30AM-10PM.
• Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).

Eligibility for health benefits is based on verifying that an average of 30 hours per week during the first 4 weeks of the work assignment has been met. If you meet eligibility requirements and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s)).
