Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse for the Yavapai County Detention Center in Camp Verde, AZ. The role is full-time, Wed-Sat, 3:00 PM–10:30 PM, performing assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning in a correctional setting.

You will lead, teach, and advocate for patients while collaborating with healthcare and correctional staff to ensure safety and quality care. An active RN license and CPR certification are required, with 1–2 years of nursing experience

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience; correctional experience preferred.
• Active CPR certification.

Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you’ll do more than care for patients—you’ll lead, teach, and advocate. Working closely with healthcare and correctional staff, you’ll assess physical/mental health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish. You’ll play a key role in supporting patient education, making timely referrals, and helping maintain safety and standards across the unit. Whether you’re managing medications, mentoring staff, or responding to a crisis, your skills will make a real impact every day.

What You’ll Need
