Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support programs across New Jersey in a hybrid capacity, including field, office, and remote work as needed. The RN will supervise nursing assessments and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in NJ, have pediatric/adult behavioral health experience preferred, and be willing to travel to various group homes.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New Jersey.
• One year of nursing experience preferred, new grads considered.
• Previous experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual Nursing Assessments for each residential individual.
• Conduct quarterly choking assessments for high-risk individuals (day and residential).
• Review dietary changes for day and residential programs.
• Provide specialized training for new hire orientations and ongoing sessions.
• Review medication charts, labs and counts for accuracy within group homes.
• Assist group homes with primary care physician or other doctors as needed.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

The Registered Nurse reports directly to the Director of Nursing. The RN will provide nursing support in a hybrid capacity, both field, office and remote as needed covering programs in Gloucester, Camden, Cumberland and Atlantic County.

Salary:

Starts at $37.23 - $38.46/hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience)

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Must be licensed to practice as an RN in the state of New Jersey.
• One year of nursing experience preferred, but New Grads will also be considered.
• Previous professional experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
• Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
• Have a strong passion for working with and helping adults with special needs.
• Comfortable traveling to different group homes.
