Devereux is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing support in a hybrid capacity—field, office, and remote as needed—across programs in New Jersey. The RN will conduct assessments, monitor medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support adults with developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in New Jersey, with 1 year of nursing experience preferred and a willingness to travel to multiple group homes.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as an RN in New Jersey.
• One year nursing experience preferred, but new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual Nursing Assessments for each residential individual.
• Conduct quarterly choking assessments for high-risk individuals in day and residential programs.
• Review all dietary changes for day and residential programs.
• Provide specialized training for new hire orientations and ongoing training.
• Review medication charts, labs and counts for accuracy.
• Assist group homes with primary care physician or other doctors as needed.
• Review charts to ensure all required documentation is received.

The Registered Nurse reports directly to the Director of Nursing. The RN will provide nursing support in a hybrid capacity, both field, office and remote as needed covering programs in Gloucester, Camden, Cumberland and Atlantic County.

Salary: Starts at $37.23 - $38.46/hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience)

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Must be licensed to practice as an RN in the state of New Jersey.
• One year of nursing experience preferred, but New Grads will also be considered.
• Previous professional experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
• Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
• Have a strong passion for working with and helping adults with special needs.
• Comfortable traveling to different group homes.
