Job summary

Elara Caring in Bridgeton, Missouri is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to assess and monitor patients, deliver nursing care according to care plans, and educate families on care and safety. You will collaborate with the care team to adapt plans as patient conditions change.

The role requires an active Missouri RN license, 1+ year of clinical nursing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A driver’s license or reliable transport is needed to travel between patient homes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma/ADN/BSN).
• 1+ year of nursing experience in a clinical care setting; Home Health experience preferred.

Job Description

• Assessing patients to determine their care needs.
• Completing initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Protecting patient and staff privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Providing nursing care according to the plan of care and physician orders.
• Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the care team.
• Educating patients and families on their care and safety.
• Taking appropriate action when patient conditions change.
• Helping ensure quality, safe, and continuous patient care.

What is Required?

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associates or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
