Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri, is hiring a Nursing Support Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool. The RN will float across Medical-Surgical, ICU, Telemetry, Birth Place, Emergency, and other areas, providing compassionate care and medication administration.

Placement in Nurse Residency for new graduates and a variable shift pattern (Days/Evenings/Nights) are offered to support professional growth within CMH’s team-driven culture and community care commitment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Licensure/Certification: RN.
• Skills: Multitasking, patience, compassion, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
• Physical Requirements: ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to manage patients' pain and medical needs.
• Coordinate admissions and discharges as shifts progress.
• Educate patients and families from admission to discharge.
• Maintain patient and family confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborate with a team of nurses and providers.

The nursing team at Citizens Memorial Hospital—Float PoolUnit strives to SERVE in the care we provide to patients,familiesand each other.Each nursing member brings their strengths to the team and works together to provide exceptional compassion and care to the community we serve.We strive to make a difference each day and promote a positive, team-driven attitude.Ourfloat pool supplements staffing throughout the hospital based on need. Nurses who work in the Citizens Memorial Float Pool will be trained to float and support in a variety of areasincluding:Medical Surgical, Intensive Care, Telemetry, Geriatric Psych, TheBirth Place, Emergency Department, and ASC- pre/post op recovery.

As aFloat Pool RN, you will be:

Administering medications to manage patients' pain levels and medical needs.

Working closely with our providers to generate a plan for the dayto coordinate admissionsand discharges as the shift progresses.

Educating patient/family from admission to discharge

Maintaining patient/family confidentiality and privacy

Working witha great teamof upbeat nursing staff and providers.
