Job summary

Harlan County Health System in Nebraska is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our inpatient and emergency departments on the night shift. This full-time position offers three 12-hour shifts per week from 5:45 p.m.

to 6:00 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. You will assess patients, implement care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and communicate with patients and the care team.

Qualifications

• Nebraska RN license or eligibility
• BLS/ACLS certifications preferred or obtained within timeframe
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Provide nursing care in inpatient and emergency settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses.
• Communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control standards
