Job summary

Holton Community Hospital in Kansas is seeking a Registered Nurse for Acute In-Patient and Emergency Department care on the night shift. You will perform clinical assessments, craft care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care.

This full-time role requires flexibility for 3, 12-hour night shifts weekly, weekend/holiday coverage, and a commitment to evidence-based practice while supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Kansas RN license or a compact license to practice in Kansas.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Current ACLS and PALS upon hire or willing to obtain within 6 months; TNCC upon hire or within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments and document tailored care plans.
• Execute evidence-based interventions and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and support throughout care.

The RN in the Acute In-Patient & Emergency Departmentat Holton Community Hospital (HCH) assumes a pivotal role in delivering high-quality and compassionate patient care within the emergency, medical/surgical, and outpatient treatment room environments. The RN adeptly performs clinical assessments, devises tailored care plans, executes evidence-based interventions, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams. The RN contributes significantly to the efficient operations of the Acute Nursing Department, upholding HCH's mission to provide excellent healthcare services within the community.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have a current, valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Kansas, or a Compact Registered Nurse License authorized to work in the State of Kansas.
• Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must have current ACLS and PALS upon hire or willing to obtain w/in 6 months of hire; TNCC upon hire or within 1 yr. of hire
