St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles seeks a Registered Nurse with cardiovascular lab experience to provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients in the cardiovascular lab.

The role requires an active RN license, BCLS and ACLS, and at least one year in a cardiovascular lab or critical care setting, with strong teamwork and communication with physicians. Full-time days. Total Rewards include time off and benefits.

• BSN preferred; active RN license required.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications required; maintain current.
• One year of clinical CV Lab or Critical Care experience required.
• Ability to provide direct patient care to adult/geriatric populations.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Addresses psychosocial, physical and general care aspects in the surgical environment.
• Communicates with physician continuously about patient condition.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtains supplies for cases and ensures Cardiovascular Lab team needs are met.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Monitors and records patient condition in the cardiovascular lab.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
• Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition.
• Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
• Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
• Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $50.11 to $67.36. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
