Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is recruiting for a Cardiovascular Lab Technologist to assist with scrubbing and monitoring during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the CV lab.

The role supports in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures and requires readiness of the procedure room and supplies. The candidate will participate in staff meetings and performance improvement efforts, with BCLS on hire and ACLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license or state credential (CCT/RCIS) required.
• CV lab experience preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis on invasive cardiology & hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) certification required on hire; ACLS within 30 days.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor par level of instruments and supplies.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. 2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. 4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.6. Proficient computer skills.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
