Job summary

Firelands Health in Sandusky, Ohio, seeks a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our on-site team. You will perform diagnostic imaging studies, prepare patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate gamma cameras, and ensure quality control and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT or CNMT registry, Ohio licensure, CPR certification, and excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail and patient centering are essential in supporting high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must maintain licensure by Ohio Department of Health.
• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine program with ability to meet and maintain ARRT or CNMT registry requirements.
• CPR certification required and recertified bi-annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine tests and coordinate with physicians for diagnosis.
• Prepare patient for exam, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and operate gamma camera.
• Set up equipment, adjust technical factors, and ensure quality control on cameras.
• Maintain dose management documentation and daily/weekly radiation safety surveys.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities and on-call rotation.
• Assist with front office/file room duties as needed.
