Firelands Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Registered) to perform nuclear medicine imaging, handle radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure quality control in a full-time, on-site role in Sandusky, Ohio. The technologist will work under the supervision of the radiology team, ensure patient safety, and maintain regulatory compliance.

The position requires an approved Nuclear Medicine program graduate, state licensure in Ohio, ARRT or CNMT certification/eligibility, CPR certification,

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Maintain licensure by Ohio Dept. of Health; ARRT/CNMT eligibility or registration.
• CPR certification current and recertified bi-annually.
• Strong communication with management, physicians, staff and patients.

Aufgaben

• Assist physicians with diagnosis by making recommendations.
• Schedule nuclear medicine tests as needed.
• Prepare patient for exam and administer radiopharmaceuticals; operate gamma camera.
• Set up machinery, select proper factors, and ensure quality control of cameras.
• Handle radioactive materials and dose management records daily.
• Respond to emergencies on a rotational basis.
• Provide care appropriate to patient age, including adults and geriatrics.
