Job summary

Charter Senior Living in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Virginia State–Certified Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our compassionate care team. You will safely prepare, administer, and document medications, monitor residents, and assist with daily living activities in a supportive senior living community.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia State Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification.
• Experience in assisted living, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident well-being.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications in accordance with Virginia Board of Nursing regulations.
• Monitoring residents for changes in condition and reporting to the Health & Wellness Director or nurse on duty.
• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and mobility when needed.
• Building strong, caring relationships with residents and families.
• Promoting a positive, supportive environment that aligns with Charter’s mission and values.

What You’ll Do

As a Registered Medication Aide (RMA), you’ll play a vital role in supporting the health and happiness of our residents by:
