Job summary

The Villa at Poplar Hill in Warrenton, VA is seeking a Registered Medication Aide to join our assisted living team. You will administer medications, update records, and collaborate with nurses and doctors to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be currently certified as a Registered Medication Aide (RMA).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident responses
• Monitor and report any adverse reactions to medications
• Assist with resident care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Conduct vital signs and other assessments as required
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
