Job summary

Heritage Senior Living in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a Registered Medication Aide to join our compassionate team in a warm senior living community. You will set up, administer, and document medications and treatments, working closely with caregivers to deliver high-quality resident care and enhance daily life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand and carry out directions and maintain simple records.
• Registered Medication Aide Certification or License required by state.

Job Requirements

• A passion for helping seniors
• A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
• Ability to work every other weekend

Job Responsibilities Include

• Setting up, administering and documenting resident medications, treatments and skin care.
• Working together with the caregivers in order to provide the best possible care for residents.
• Interacting daily with residents in an effort to improve resident quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Able to understand and carry out directions and instructions and maintain simple records.
• Registered Medication Aide Certification or License depending on your state requirement.
• Some supervisory experience preferred but not required
