Job summary

DLZ Corporation in Michigan seeks a Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) to lead design and coordination across diverse project types. The role requires a solid technical foundation with strong graphic capabilities and the ability to work on a range of landscapes from parks to streetscapes.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare drawings and specifications, and present concepts to clients and review agencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture required.
Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) required.
AutoCAD skills with ability to produce technical drawings and digital production.
Ability to read and interpret ordinances, codes, plans, maps and blueprints.
Strong site design, park design, streetscape design skills and graphic abilities.
Strong interpersonal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

Direct and monitor a specific segment of a project.
Direct or monitor project progress including graphics, writing and administration of the project as delegated.
Provide project assistance such as directing, supervising, coordinating and evaluating efforts of landscape architecture/planning and design disciplines.
Prepare design drawings, specifications, studies and written work; approve client change orders.
Prepare for and participate in oral presentations to clients and review agencies.
