Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 0-2+ years of related experience.
• ASCP HT/HTL certification or eligible with certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Project quality control monitoring, slide printing, cassette printing
• Experience loading, changing, cleaning, and troubleshooting tissue processors
• Perform routine H&E staining followed by glass/film coverslipping
• IHC experience across platforms with validations, assay transfer, assay development
• Pipetting and digital slide scanning quality control
• Maintain safe working environment and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, CAP regulations
• Organize work to maximize productivity
• TMA creation, manual and automated
• Strong microtomy across thicknesses and curls per project
• Verify control slides and assess staining characteristics
