Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 0-2+ years of related experience.
• Histologist (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certified by ASCP or HT certification eligible with certification obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue sections with consistent accuracy through processing, staining, and coverslipping.
• Perform routine H&E staining and quality control of slides.
• Create and section TMA manually and automated.
• Maintain equipment and organize workflow to maximize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, CAP, safety, and HIPAA regulations.
• Provide professional communication with laboratory staff.
