We are currently hiring for the position of: Registered Environmental Health Specialist III - Supervisor (Food and Safety) (Full Time)

Under the supervision of the Division Manager, this role manages and oversees assigned programs and staff, provides training and support, and collaborates with other departments and community partners to deliver environmental health services. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of environmental health programs
• Procure supplies and manage inventory
• Administer budgets and financial allocations
• Conduct cost analysis for program fees
• Implement improvements and maintain records
• Schedule inspections and review plans
• Collaborate with agencies and community groups
• Engage with community leaders and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) with Ohio
• Minimum 5 years REHS experience in public health, with at least 1 year in supervisory roles
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Pesticide License, ServSafe, etc.)
• Valid Ohio Driver's License

Compensation:

Wage range: $32.47 - $38.96 per hour. This is an exempt position.
