Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Massena, NY is seeking a Registered Echo Technician to perform high quality echocardiography studies and assist in the Cardiology Department's daily workflow.

This per diem role supports set shifts (Days, M-F) with 8-hour clinical blocks; you will work under the direction of RNs and physicians, maintain records, and help ensure accurate stress testing and echo testing standards.

DEPARTMENT: Medical Imaging

SCHEDULE: Days, M-F, 8 hrs, 9am-5pm or 7am-3pm

SUMMARY

Performs high quality echocardiography testing. Assists in the daily routines of the Cardiology Department. Responsible for assisting RN and physician in the set up and completion of comprehensive cardiology testing(Stress). Comply with the professional standards of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

PAY RANGE

$36.13 - $53.60 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
