Job summary

This per diem role supports set shifts (Days, M-F) with 8-hour clinical blocks; you will work under the direction of RNs and physicians, maintain records, and help ensure accurate stress testing and echo testing standards.

Qualifications

• NYS registered echosonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care specializing in echo related studies.
• Responsible for comprehensive cardiology testing on an as needed basis.
• Maintain departmental records, assist with order entry, scanning and filing. Serve as a resource person/mentor to non-registered staff assisting the department director to maintain a high quality of echo testing in cardiology.
• Assist Director of Cardiology Services in quality assurance assessment and improvement activities.
